City of Smyrna town hall to discuss proposed land sale to brewery

It’s been the subject of hot debate in Smyrna for months. Sunday afternoon, the proposal to sell public land to a metro Atlanta brewery will get an airing in a town hall meeting.

The city-called discussion is 2pm-3:30pm inside Smyrna City Hall.

Suwanee-based StillFire Brewing is looking to establish a second location. Under consideration is a 1.7-acre tract of undeveloped land at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Powder Springs Street. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the city has proposed a sale of roughly an acre to the brewery for $600,000.
