CDC postpones October meeting of Immunization Advisory Committee

ATLANTA — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has postponed this month’s meeting of its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

The session had been scheduled for October 22 and 23, but no new date has been announced. The CDC has not given a reason for the postponement.

The delay comes after the committee’s September meeting, which ended with confusion among newly appointed members following a vote to reverse universal COVID vaccine recommendations.
