ATLANTA — Drivers who use Briarcliff Road near Emory University should expect delays as work begins on replacing the bridge over Peachtree Creek.
The project will bring single-lane closures daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again during overnight hours.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the new bridge will feature wider travel lanes in each direction, along with bike lanes and sidewalks.
Construction is expected to continue through the summer of 2027.
