A Braves trainer is talking for the first time about the crash that killed his wife.
Jeff Porter and his son are at the team's training camp in Florida.
Kathy Porter was killed after a Georgia State trooper slammed into the family's SUV on New Year's Eve.
Fighting back tears, Porter tells Channel 2 Action News the support from the thousands of fans has been overwhelming.
"It was amazing. It was beyond anything that you could ever imagine. The amount of support that we got," said Porter.
Trooper Donald Crozier, who had a bad driving record, was subsequently fired.
