ATLANTA — A mother says her daughter was assaulted by a football player during a pep rally -- and the player still hasn’t faced any kind of punishment.
A video shows the incident happening at Holy Innocents last month. In the video, a group of students runs to the center of a basketball court and it appears that a boy reaches his hand out and pushes the victim. The girl then violently face-plants on the ground.
The victim’s mother, Tracy Miguel, said the student who pushed her daughter has been bullying her since the start of the year.
The family has since taken out a restraining order against the student in the video, but the student remains enrolled.
