ATLANTA — Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is getting better reviews from travelers but remains near the bottom among the country’s largest airports, according to a new J.D. Power survey.
The Atlanta airport ranked 15th out of 20 so-called mega airports in the latest customer satisfaction survey.
Atlanta received a score of 606 out of a possible 1,000 points, which was below average for airports handling more than 33 million passengers a year.
The survey considers factors including how easy it is to get around, airport terminals, workers, and food and shopping options.
Atlanta’s score improved by 16 points compared with last year. Travelers gave the airport better marks for getting around and its food, beverage and shopping options.
The study is based on responses from more than 24,000 travelers.
