JOHNS CREEK, GA — A German animal health company has opened its new U.S. headquarters in Johns Creek.
Boehringer Ingelheim is the newest business to call the North Fulton County city home, opening its new U.S. Animal Health headquarters.
Company officials say Johns Creek was selected because of its access to talent and its location within one of the region’s fastest-growing life science and innovation corridors.
The location also puts the company near its manufacturing sites in Athens and Gainesville.
Boehringer Ingelheim makes several animal health products, including NexGard, NexGard Plus and Heartgard.
To commemorate the grand opening and show its commitment to the community, the company donated NexGard parasite protection to the Johns Creek Police Department for its K-9 officers.
