3 hospitalized after salmonella outbreak linked to flour brand across multiple states

ATLANTA — A dozen people are sick after a salmonella outbreak across 11 states.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating to find the specific brand of flour linked to the outbreak.

So far, 12 illnesses have been reported and three people have been hospitalized.

The CDC warns against eating any raw dough or batter, and recommends washing any bowls, utensils, and surfaces that touched raw flour.
