ATLANTA — Police are asking for the public’s help in obtaining any information that leads to the arrest of a man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting.
Officers responded to reports of a person shot at the 3200 block of Cushman Circle SW around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim, identified as 25-year-old Elijah Brookshire, was placed inside a gray 2010 Mazda in an attempt to transport him to Grady Hospital.
While en route to Grady Hospital, the driver of the vehicle pulled over at 1192 Michael Langford Dr. SW after noticing that Brookshire was not breathing, police officials said.
Emergency personnel responded to the location and pronounced Brookshire dead at the scene.
Investigators are asking anyone with information in connection with the deadly shooting to submit a tip to Crime Stoppers or contact police.
