ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a 22-year-old woman was shot and killed early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened near the Westside Court apartments near the intersection of Defoors Ferry Road and Collier Road in northwest Atlanta around 2 a.m.
Police say the victim was rushed to the hospital by a private vehicle.
Police have not identified the suspected shooter.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
