19-year-old man injured in Atlanta shooting, police say

ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Atlanta on Friday evening.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at 812 of Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd. just before 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was rushed to the hospital. The current extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown.

It is unclear if anyone is in custody.
