ATLANTA — As pollen season gets underway, new numbers show more than 30% of people suffer from allergies.
The National Center for Health Statistics says allergy rates can depend on where people live. Those outside large metro areas report more allergies compared to residents living in town.
The data also shows women are more likely to suffer from seasonal allergies than men.
People ages 75 and older are the only group to see a decline in allergies.
