Duluth couple murdered in home

Gwinnett county police are asking the public's help in finding who killed a Duluth couple over the weekend.

The bodies of 59-year-old Sun Hee Choi and her 63-year-old husband Young Chan Choi were found inside their home in the Thornhill Commons subdivision. They had both been stabbed to death.

“It is very unusual because it was an elderly couple who lived there... really kept to themselves,” says Jeffery Smith who lives a few doors down.

Another neighbor who lives next door heard screams coming from the home and first called a relative who later arrived and called police.

He tells WSB’s Sandra Parrish he saw the commotion late Saturday night as police arrived and cordoned off the area.

Witnesses reported seeing a white passenger car at the couple’s house and man delivering a box of apples prior to the murders.

The couple owned a restaurant supply business in Norcross and police are not sure whether it is tied to their murders.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police at 770-513-5300.
