Police search for suspects who stole dozens of cars from Atlanta airport parking lot

ATLANTA, Ga. — Police are putting the breaks on a car theft ring that has targeted Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Atlanta Police Lt. Rodney Jones says the thieves drove off with more than 50 cars they know of so far.

Among the cars stolen include mostly Jeeps, Dodge Challengers and Charges and some high-end GM cars.

Jones says police are searching for around a dozen additional suspects.
