ATLANTA — A 27-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot Monday evening in Atlanta.
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Burroughs Avenue after reports of a shooting around 7:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to the hospital.
The identity of the victim and current extent of his injury is unknown.
Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
