GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County police are investigating a homicide on Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a person shot call at 1625 Pleasant Hill Rd. around 3 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a woman dead with an apparent gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are questioning witnesses.
“At this time, the incident is believed to be a domestic related homicide. The victim’s name will be released following next-of-kin notification,” Gwinnett County police say.
This is an active investigation.
