DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — GBI officials are investigating a deadly shooting involving a Villa Rica police officer that shut down I-20 east in metro Atlanta for several hours on Friday.
A 52-year-old man identified as Jorge Narvaez of Carrollton, was killed, GBI officials confirmed.
A portion of I-20 east in Douglas County was blocked for several hours.
The shooting remains under investigation.
