ATLANTA — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in southwest Atlanta that left a 7-year-old boy injured.
Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Kimberly Way, where they found the child suffering from three gunshot wounds to his right arm.
Investigators say the boy was inside one of the apartment units at the time of the shooting. He was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is listed in stable condition.
Police say multiple rounds were fired from the street, and evidence markers were placed throughout the scene.
Officials say three separate apartment units were damaged by gunfire, but no other injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made, and police have not identified any suspects.
The investigation remains active.
