ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 53-year-old woman injured in southeast Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 500 block of McWilliams Road after reports of a shooting just after 4 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital.
The identity of the victim and current extent of her injury are unknown.
The shooting remains under investigation.
