ATLANTA — A 50-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in Atlanta early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of McDaniel Street around 1:05 a.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to the hospital. The current extent of the victim’s injury is unknown.
Investigators say the victim was shot by a “known male suspect” who later left the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
