Two armed robberies at a Subway Restaurants in Smyrna have police searching for the suspected thief.
Smyrna Police Detectives are asking for the public's help to identify the man who robbed the Subway at 2550 Cobb Parkway and 20 minutes later another Subway Restaurant located at 2517 Spring Road was also held up.
Police say in both cases the suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6"1' tall, with a medium build, wearing eyeglasses and a black over gray Northface style jacket.
The employee complied and the suspect reportedly left the store on foot without incident.
Witnesses say the suspect produced a handgun and demanded money from an employee.
Police have recovered video from both stores that confirms it is the same suspect in both robberies.
Detectives say the stores are located a short distance from one another and given the time between the two incidents, it is possible the suspect walked from one location to another.
