Douglasville man now charged with pawn shop holdup in Snellville

Snellville Police is the latest agency to charge a Douglasville man with armed robbery.

Investigators believe 47-year-old Avery Frazier held up the Title Bucks on Hwy 78 Oct. 9 at gunpoint.

He was arrested by Conyers Police for a similar crime that occurred at a Title Bucks on Hwy 138 Oct. 30 and may responsible for more than 30 around the metro area in the last two years.

“With the amount of robberies and the amount of cash these establishments carry, we could probably estimate in the range of possibly over $100,000,” says Snellville Police Det. Orlando Concepcion.

He credits Conyers Police with identifying Frazier using license plate reader equipment that linked him to the area were that robbery occurred.

Concepcion says Frazier matches the description of the suspect seen in surveillance video of the Snellville robbery as well as several others.

“He’s very well-dressed and well-spoken,” he says.

Other agencies in Cobb, DeKalb, and Clayton Counties are also looking to see if they can connect Frazier to similar robberies there.
