Church fire in Snellville deliberately set

Surveillance photos may help track down a person of interest in an arson fire in Snellville targeting a church.

Gwinnett County Fire confirm that someone vandalized the church then deliberately set it on fire.  The fire caused minor damage to a kitchen inside Zoar United Methodist Church near Centerville Highway.

The individual in the photos is a white male, approximately 18-26 years of age, and is seen wearing torn blue jeans, a dark hooded jacket, and a striped shirt.  The photos were captured at a local business prior to the fire being reported.

The sprinkler system inside the building extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived.  A reward of up to ten thousand dollars is available to catch and convict the arsonist.
