Augusta resident turns himself in for questioning

A person of interest turns himself in for questioning about the shootings on and off the Paine College campus in Augusta.

26-year-old Christopher Jackson tells an Augusta TV station, he's a victim, not a perpetrator.  His house on Laurel Street was shot up twice in successive drive-by shootings Sunday.

Richmond County Sheriff Richard Roundtree suspects Jackson may know more than he's saying.  The sheriff believes these shootings are drug-related.

A Paine College student from DeKalb County is in custody, accused of shooting classmate JaJuan Baker in the head.  20-year-old Xavier Cooper faces charges of aggravated assault and weapons counts.
