Alpharetta police met Sunday night with city officials and homeowners concerned about a recent rash of burglaries, including two home invasions.
Indian families were victims in both home invasions, but police are not sure that is the reason they were targeted.
The latest happened the night before Thanksgiving. The other occurred in September when five masked men tied up another Indian family and stole gold.
Plus, residents like Paul Sharma are worried about violent burglaries and property crimes that have hit the city.
"There's a lot of concern, there's a lot of people that are mad that action hasn't come fast enough," Sharma told Channel 2 Action News.
Sharma says his brother and a close friend have been burglarized this year.
"I felt pretty vulnerable, since it's happened to a relative and then an acquaintance. We've taken a lot of measures to beef up our security and lighting and just take precautions."
