ATLANTA — A fire broke out at a building in downtown Atlanta Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Ted Turner and Luckie Streets

The large black plume of smoke was visible for miles.

Flames appeared to be shooting out of the roof of a building that is under construction.

Officials said, there was some rubber membrane that caught fire on the roof.

No injuries have been reported.

Georgia State Police said some of the surrounding streets are closed.

They have not said when the roads will reopen.
