CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — A 26-year-old man has been convicted of raping two girls in metro Atlanta.

Officials say a jury found Reyes Hernandez-Macario guilty on all eight charges against him in Cherokee County.

Prosecutors say he was a youth pastor responsible for transporting children to services, and that’s how he knew both victims.

Both had similar accounts of their attacks, officials said.
