A strong cold front sweeps away the murky weather and ushers in much colder air. It’s thanks to the blizzard in the Midwest which is moving into the Great Lakes and New England tonight and tomorrow.

Bundle up for work and school as temperatures today will be dropping into the 40s with a wind chill factor making it feel like the 30s all day.

Another reinforcing cold front will move through by Tuesday morning.

Despite lots of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday the thermometer will not respond much with temperatures 10-20 degrees below normal for November, more in line with January. We don’t recover back to the mid 50s until Thursday.

HOURLY FORECAST CHARTS MONDAY-THURSDAY:

We warm back into the 60s by the weekend but at the price of some rain and thunderstorms. We will have to monitor Saturday for a risk of severe weather and monitor next Tuesday or Wednesday for a possible risk of severe weather.

Another cold snap will follow late next week.
