Parts of Georgia could see up to two inches of rain today

Don’t pack away the rain gear just yet—you’ll need it again Tuesday.

WSB Meteorologist Kirk Mellish is tracking heavier downpours pushing through metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

A flash flood warning for parts of metro Atlanta expired at 4:15 a.m. but a new flash flood watch in effect for northeast Georgia counties.

We’re going over the timing and the areas that could see the most rain on 95.5 WSB.

Here is what to expect as we head throughout Tuesday:

Another 1-2 inches of rain possible across north Georgia today.
Main flooding concerns will be urban and low-lying areas. Watch out for any additional flooding on the roads.
Rain showers, storms to continue into Wednesday
