Heavy rain falling; Flash Flood Watch in effect for north Georgia

Most of north Georgia woke up to heavy rain this morning—and more is expected later today.

95.5 WSB Meteorologist Christina Edwards said that you should expect to see several more inches of rain throughout the week.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for part of metro Atlanta until 2 a.m. Thursday.

Here’s what to know:

• Rain with some thunderstorms mixed in possible Tuesday
• 2 to 4 inches of rain expected through late Wednesday
• Quick rises on rivers and creeks possible
