ATLANTA — The really cold – is here for metro Atlanta.

The chilly  temperatures began to roll in Sunday afternoon, and were dropping from there into evening.

WSB meteorologist Kirk Mellish is forecasting lows between 22-25 degrees overnight Sunday into Monday morning.  Monday daytime highs are only expected to reach between 38-42.

Lows will dip into the 20’s again Monday night, before highs on Tuesday extend into the lower 40’s.
