Another Tropical Storm to impact U.S. Gulf Coast

Could become a hurricane

A Tropical Storm WATCH has already been hoisted for part of the Florida Pan Handel as tropical depression 19 near South tip of Florida is expected to become Tropical Storm SALLY or TEDDY later today or tonight as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.

At least a couple models suggest it could strengthen into at least a minimal hurricane and threaten coast areas from West Louisiana to the Florida Pan Handle in the timeframe from Sunday through Tuesday.

It will it will at the very least “contribute” tropical moisture in the Atlanta area keeping humidity high and rain chances going through next week.
