Even though he's been on Georgia's campus for a little more than a month, Major Burns has already his welcome to the SEC moment.
Burns a 4-star early enrollee in Georgia's 2020 signing class had been taken back when he saw one of his now current teammates working out.
"We got a big linebacker, I think his name is Adam," Burnssaid. "He's like 6-6 and runs a 4.3 (-second 40-yard dash). I ain't never seen anything like that in high school.
"I was like, all right, that's nice to have next to me."
Seeing Anderson in person, it's easy to see why Burns would somewhat be in awe. In addition to his height and speed, he's got the type of wingspan you'd usually see on an NBA court. Anderson's otherworldly athleticism allows Georgia to move him around the defensive formation and serve as a key member of the Bulldogs' third-down defensive unit.
Burns' comments also got us to thinking who are some of the other players on the Georgia football team who would qualify as athletic freaks. And with the Bulldogs continually being one of the best recruiting teams in the country, the Bulldogs have plenty of players who fall into that category.
Some of the players who didn't quite make the cut: Arian Smith (perhaps the fastest recruit in the 2020 recruiting cycle), Tyson Campbell (essentially the cornerback version of Anderson) and Nakobe Dean (a linebacker who is fast enough to play safety).
As for the guys who did make the list, let's just say they compare to the likes Spiderman and the Terminator.
