The last time Georgia and Alabama played, Georgia tight end Tre' McKitty was watching from his couch. The then Florida State Seminole was tuning in to watch the 2018 SEC Championship Game as a fan. When the two teams met in the national championship game the previous January, McKitty said he was watching from his couch on that one as well.
Now McKitty will get a chance to play in the game, though the two sides won’t have a championship isn’t on the line.
“I know those [UGA-Alabama] games were extremely competitive and exciting to watch, and I can only imagine what it is going to be like playing in it,” McKitty said.
