The Georgia Bulldogs are #1.
As expected, the Dawgs ascended to the top of the college football rankings following their win over Auburn Saturday, coupled with Alabama’s loss at Texas A&M.
The new Associated Press Top-25 released Sunday afternoon now shows Georgia (6-0, 4-0 SEC) in the top spot, followed by Iowa, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and Alabama to round out the top-5. Georgia is a unanimous #1, receiving all first-place votes.
Georgia on Saturday won 34-10 at Auburn, while previous #1 Alabama was upset at Texas A&M in the evening.

The Bulldogs’ next game is Saturday, Oct. 16 in Athens against undefeated Kentucky (6-0, 4-0 SEC). The Wildcats moved up from 16th to #11 in the new rankings.
