For the third straight game, a Georgia player has been recognized by the SEC for his performance. This time, it was Georgia outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari.
The redshirt sophomore outside linebacker picked up two sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered one in Georgia’s 44-21 win over the Tennessee Volunteers. Ojulari totaled five tackles in the game and helped hold the Volunteers to -1 rushing yards in the victory.
“It was pretty big and we needed that coming off halftime,” Ojulari said of his strip-sack. “We definitely needed that momentum shift. It put the offense in a great position to put some points on the board. It was a big moment and just great.”
