ATLANTA — As expected, the Georgia Bulldogs took a hit in the latest rankings following the team’s 20-17 upset loss in double overtime to South Carolina in Athens Saturday.
The Dawgs fell from #3 to #10 in the fresh Associated Press Top-25 released Sunday.
The new top-10: Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oklahoma go 1 through 5. The next five: Wisconsin, Penn State, Notre Dame, Florida, and Georgia.
The Bulldogs were victimized by three interceptions thrown by QB Jake Fromm and missed field goals from Rodrigo Blankenship. But Georgia had plenty of other issues that its players and coaches will be working on ahead of its next game, Saturday against Kentucky.
