DALLAS — Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie was wounded in the leg and treated at a Dallas hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, WFAA reported Saturday.
The television station, quoting unnamed “multiple police sources,” said the rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch Jr. and also goes by the stage name Boosie Badazz, was treated for a gunshot wound Saturday.
Lil Boosie, 38, had attended a vigil Friday night in Dallas for rapper Mo3, who was fatally shot on a Dallas interstate Wednesday afternoon. Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, was gunned down on Interstate 35.
Details about the shooting were sketchy.
The location where Lil Boosie was shot could not be confirmed by WFAA. The television station reported that the rapper, who is from Baton Rouge, was not giving many details to police.
KDFW, also relying on unnamed sources, confirmed that Boosie was treated at a hospital just after 2 p.m. Saturday after being shot in the leg.
Lil Boosie collaborated with Mo3 in 2019 on “Errybody (Remix).”
