Actress and singer Mandy Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith are expecting their first child, the couple announced via Instagram on Thursday.

The “This Is Us” star captioned her post “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021."

Goldsmith and Moore wed in 2018, following a one-year engagement, Elle reported.

Moore told E! News one year before she married Goldsmith that she felt a “kinship” with her matriarchal character, Rebecca Pearson, on the hit TV show despite not having children of her own.

“I was most concerned about feeling maternal, not having children myself. But being part of a project like this definitely makes my ovaries start kicking,” Moore said in 2017.
