Fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers who have also been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will have a new perk.
If a fan has had at least two weeks since their final vaccine dose, they can get tickets for Dodger Stadium’s “Fully Vaccinated Fan Section” at the game Saturday against the San Diego Padres, KCBS reported.
Saturday’s game is a test that, if successful, may lead to adding vaccinated fan sections to other games, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The team said Wednesday, “The fully vaccinated fan section allows for more flexible seating options while maintaining safety within the fan zone and throughout the stadium.”
That means social distancing is not required in the section and that fans will be seated next to each other, instead of in small, individual groups.
Face coverings will be required unless actively eating and drinking in the seats.
Children between 2 and 16 who can provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours prior to the game can also sit in the section. Children under the age of 2 do not need a negative test, KCBS reported.
Prices for the special section range from $121 to $154 as of Wednesday, the Times reported.
