According to the BBC and the Nottingham Post, Phythian, 37, and her husband, Victor Marke, 59, were convicted of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, and Marke was additionally found guilty of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.

The couple was convicted at the Nottingham Crown Court of 14 charges of sexual activity with a child between 2005 and 2008, the BBC reported. The alleged abuse against the girl began when she was 13, the news outlet reported.

Phythian is listed as Zara Marke in court documents, according to Entertainment Weekly. Charges against Victor Marke included four indecent assault charges that had been committed since 2002, People reported.

The couple had been free on bail during the trial but were remanded into custody after the verdicts, the BBC reported. They will be sentenced on Monday.

“Both of you know the sentence I pass on May 16 is likely to be measured by a considerable period of custody,” Judge Mark Watson said.

Phythian is known for her roles in “Accident Man 2″ (2022), “Tribal Get Out Alive” (2020) and a small role in “Doctor Strange” (2016), the Post reported.

She does not appear in the sequel, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” Entertainment Weekly reported.

Representatives for Phythian and Victor Marke did not immediately respond to People’s request for comment about the charges or convictions.
