PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 7-year-old girl who was killed Saturday in Florida may have been shot by a small child, authorities said.

According to WEAR-TV, Aniyah Nettles, 7, was fatally shot Saturday morning on the porch of her grandmother's home on North B Street in Pensacola.

Although police detained a man who appeared to be hiding at the scene, authorities believe another child shot Nettles, also known as "Fat-Fat," WEAR reported.

No further details were immediately available about the man taken into custody, the Pensacola News Journal reported.
