Saturday rain showers may not rain out different events around Metro Atlanta this weekend, but they could cancel or pause different road projects around town.

GDOT is planning daytime work through the weekend mainly on the I-285/GA-400 project and crews certainly will be even busier in the night time hours.

The biggest events of the weekend include the Taste of Atlanta at Old Fourth Ward Park, Post Malone at State Farm Arena on Friday evening, and the Atlanta United (Saturday) and Atlanta Falcons (Sunday) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Georgia Bulldogs will also host Kentucky in Athens, which should make for delays leaving Atlanta on Hwy. 316.

Weekend Traffic Report:

• Fulton Co.: GA-400/sb between Hammond Dr. and I-285 (Exit 4), two left lanes blocked from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Expect big delays during the day. Use Roswell Rd. or Peachtree Dunwoody Rd.
• Fulton Co.: Abernathy Rd. ramp to GA-400/nb shut down from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Use Hammond Dr.
• Fulton Co.: Glenridge Dr. ramp to I-285/wb (Outer Loop) shut down from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday. Use Roswell Rd.
• DeKalb Co.: I-285/wb (Outer Loop) between Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. (Exit 30) and Ashford Dunwoody Rd. (Exit 29), right lane blocked 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Expect some delays.

• Atlanta: Little Five Points Halloween Parade…Expect closures late in the day Saturday along Moreland Ave. and Euclid Ave. and on surrounding roads. Take MARTA, if possible.
