More extensive work for Sandy Springs and Dunwoody’s I-285 and Georgia/400 Corridor Project will create weekend delays, especially during overnight hours.

Watch for more work on I-285 by Camp Creek Parkway and south of I-20 in Atlanta.

Also, watch for work on I-75/South before Barrett Parkway in Cobb County, I-85 by Buford Spring Connector (SR-13) in Downtown Atlanta, and on I-85 near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in northbound lanes.

Many activities are expected to keep traffic flow heavy this weekend. “ATLive” concerts at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday AND Sunday evenings, home football games for Georgia Tech and Georgia State Saturday, continued residencies for “Cirque du Soleil” at Atlantic Station, and Broadway’s “Wicked” at Fox Theatre, added to the “DreamHack Atlanta” gaming event at Georgia World Congress Center, will keep commuters steadily heading into Midtown Atlanta.

“Sesame Street Live” will be at the Cobb Energy Centre all weekend, and teen heartthrobs “Super-M” take the stage at Gwinnett’s Infinite Energy Arena Friday night, so watch for area delays.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION ZONES:

• Atlanta: I-85/nb by Buford Spring Connector (Exit 86, SR -13) in two right lanes during overnight hours through the weekend.
• Sandy Springs: Georgia/400 South ramp to I-285/East (Exit 4A), to be blocked, at times, during overnight hours.
• Sandy Springs: Georgia/400 North ramp to I-285/West (Exit 4B) to be blocked, at times, during overnight hours.
• Sandy Springs/Dunwoody: I-285/East and West, between Ashford-Dunwoody Road (Exit 29). and Glenridge Drive (Exit 26). Expect lane restrictions.
• Cobb Co.: I-75/South from Wade Green Road (Exit 273) to Chastain Road (Exit 271), and by Barrett Parkway (Exit 269). One right lane to be blocked during overnight hours.
• Fulton Co.: I-285/North before Camp Creek Parkway (Exit 2) to Cascade Rd. (Exit 7), and from Bolton Road (Exit 13) to Chattahoochee River overpass in two lanes during overnight hours.
• Cobb Co.: I-285/sb from South Atlanta Road (Exit 16) to Chattahoochee River overpass, in two right lanes during overnight hours.
