Six people have been shot and three of the six people have died in a shooting at the Brannon Hill Condominium in DeKalb, officials said.
Just after 7 p.m. Sunday, police received calls of a person shot in the 6500 block of Old Hampton Drive.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found five people had been shot, police said.
Ambulances transported two to local hospitals in serious condition.
Three died on the scene.
Police said a sixth person arrived at a local hospital in serious condition shortly after.
None of the victims have been identified.
The shooter or shooters have not been captured. Police have not given a motive for the shooting or said what sparked the confrontation.
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond issued a statement Monday morning, saying:
“DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond has directed Police Chief Mirtha Ramos to allocate all necessary resources to investigate the deadly shootings at Brannon Hill Condominium on May 8 to bring those responsible to justice.”
