What had been a quiet and somber tribute outside the U.S. Supreme Court to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg turned loud on Thursday morning, as President Donald Trump arrived to pay his respects, with the crowd booing and jeering the President and First Lady.
“Vote him out! Vote him out!” many in the crowd chanted, as the President appeared at the top of the Supreme Court steps, where the flag-draped casket of Ginsburg has been stationed, because of the Coronavirus outbreak.
Wearing a mask, the President gave no hint of his reaction to the crowd noise below, as he stayed for about 90 seconds before walking back inside the Supreme Court building.

Mr. Trump will announce his nominee to fill the vacancy left by Ginsburg on Saturday.
Republicans in the Senate have said they will try to hold hearings and confirm that choice before the November 3 elections.
