SHREVEPORT La. - Twin brothers are attending college in the fall and neither one will have to pay out of pocket.
The Shreveport Times reported that Captain Shreve High School seniors Brin and Nial Wilson, of Shreveport, Louisiana, were each awarded $1.3 million in academic scholarships Tuesday. Specifically, Brin Wilson has accumulated $1,393,012 in scholarships, and his brother has accumulated $1,335,788.
KSLA reported that both students have been recruited by a number of colleges across the country. Some of the colleges they’ve been accepted in to are Morehouse College, St. John’s University, Loyola University and Louisiana Tech.
The brothers have athletic skills on top of their smarts. They each received athletic scholarship offers to play football: Brin Wilson has an offer from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and Nial Wilson has offers from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri; McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas; Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas; and Judson University in Elgin, Illinois.
It’s not clear which school the Wilson brothers will attend, but they plan to study civil engineering.
