Elton John hosting coronavirus benefit concert with Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey

Music legend Elton John will host a star-studded lineup Sunday night for a concert that will benefit groups fighting to stop the spread of coronavirus in the United States.

The iHeart Living Room Concert for America, presented by Fox, will include performances by Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Billie Joe Armstrong and Tim McGraw, Variety reported. During the hourlong, commercial-free broadcast, each star will perform from their homes, filmed with their personal cellphones, cameras and audio equipment, the magazine reported.

The concert will “pay tribute to the front line health professionals, first responders and local heroes who are putting their lives in harm’s way to help their neighbors and fight the spread of the virus,” a Fox representative said in a statement.

Viewers will be asked to support the charitable organizations Feeding America and the First Responders Children's FoundationEntertainment Weekly reported.

The show will air during the time slot usually reserved for the iHeart Radio Music Awards -- from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., the website reported. It will also air on Fox linear and digital platforms and on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio app.
