Vice President Mike Pence will travel to Georgia on Friday for a bus tour in support of Sen. David Perdue and Sen. Kelly Loeffler. The Republican incumbent senators are facing off in a Jan. 5 runoff against Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
Pence is expected to arrive just before noon at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Cobb County. The vice president will head to two “Defend the Majority” rallies: one in Canton at 1 p.m. and another in Gainesville at 4:15 p.m. Pence is expected to wrap up his visit and leave Dobbins by 6:30 p.m.

Pence’s visit happens on the same day that Georgia will certify its election results.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office released the results of the statewide audit Thursday night that reaffirmed President-elect Joe Biden won Georgia in November’s election.
President Donald Trump’s campaign announced it was filing a lawsuit in Georgia over the election.
