Thousands of people are gathered at Centennial Olympic Park Friday to celebrate Juneteenth, the official commemoration of the end of slavery in the U.S.
Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes was at Centennial Olympic Park, where thousands of participants from hundreds of local churches across denominational and cultural lines were expected to gather for a worship service Friday morning.
A march from Centennial Olympic Park to the capitol started at 11:30 a.m. Traffic is being impacted in the area.
